Who We Look For

We’re always looking for incredible, talented, energetic and motivated superstars to join our team. We figure if you’re exceptional,  everything else will fall into place. If you have previous experience in high-end retail / Hospitality or property management that would be a bonus!

Currently, we have the following vacancies:
Community Manager (full time)
Community Host / Hostess (full / part time)
Executive Director (volunteer position, part time for our Foundation – theworklodge.com/our-cause)

LOCATION: Spring / Woodlands Area

FULL TIME / PART TIME: Full-Time

DESCRIPTION
Our Community Manager is the face of The Work Lodge. You’re the senior team member in your location. You’ll manage communication toward our members, as well the surrounding area of your location. You’ll oversee your team, making sure we deliver an outstanding experience to our members, and you’ll oversee the facility, juggling a few balls all day long.

We’re looking for someone who’s digital-savvy and comfortable communicating verbally as well as via email. Someone who’s willing to join in with the back office team as we deliver great Social Media updates, build relationships within our local community and develop our offering to make it stronger and better each day.

You’ll hopefully have a little sales experience (although not required) but most definitely have a Hospitality / High End Retail background.

You’ll be highly organized, with a strong drive and personal initiative so that you can lead your team by example, understanding that we all work together, rolling up our sleeves when we need to if that’s what it takes to get the job done.

Although every day as a Community Manager is different, this is what the role’s responsibilities may include:

  • Events and event planning – creating and delivering awesome regular events for our members. We’re thinking fun here, so creativity is key as no two events can be the same… Ever!
  • Customer relations – you’ll be the first line of customer support both for our internal members, and any potential members that might be asking questions whether in person, by phone, email etc. to maintain our goals of ‘Exceptional Customer Service’ and ‘Right First Time’ performance.
  • Business Development – you’ll work alongside our Corporate Office to grow memberships and maintain full occupancy creating an exceptional waiting list of potential members to ensure we remain full.
  • Team Leadership – you’ll be responsible for the other staff members in your team, helping them to achieve their goals, developing and mentoring them to deliver the exceptional experiences we strive for, each and every time.

DESCRIPTION

  • Outgoing personality –
We’re looking for social butterflies, who LOVE to engage with people in quality, human interaction, retaining the knowledge to build real, genuine relationships that will help us grow incredible communities in each location. Not only will you find it helpful and rewarding to solve people’s problems, but you’ll proactively use that new knowledge to improve the whole experience for everyone else in your team, and your community of members. You’ll also be the kind of person that can walk into a room of strangers and have no problem talking to every one of them in there.
  • Writing skills –
Because you’ll engage with members through emails (some of the time) as well as the back office, you’ll need to have fabulous writing skills with ninja-like grammar and spelling ability.
  • Interest in what we do –
You’ll be genuinely excited about what we do and what we’re building. We want people that will grow with us and stick around to reap the rewards of their hard work. You’ll be passionate, energetic and enthusiastic about life, about work and about everything in between!
  • Willingness to work around the clock –
Just kidding. Kind of. Well ok, maybe a little! Although our normal operating hours are typically business hours there will be occasional evenings or weekends that you’ll be needed. It won’t be often, but let’s just get it out there now then it’s not a surprise if it comes up.
  • General skills –
Great time management skills, ability to multitask, intelligent, good general awareness and ‘street smart’s, up to date on local news and events and a great ability to stay calm under pressure, and think clearly and logically at all times. Throw into that mix an independent, creative attitude and a self-starter personality who loves running with things while keeping everyone inside and outside the company in the loop and you’ll be winning every day!
  • Technical skills –
You’re a ninja with a computer, comfortable with Google Apps and know how to organize your folders to keep files in order.
  • Culture –
We’re a small company right now but we’re growing fast so your ability to get along with others and mesh with the culture we’re building is key. You may be the best thing since sliced bread, but if there’s no chemistry there between us it just isn’t going to work.
